Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of ReGenera by IMPAQTO, a new initiative aimed at empowering 200 migrant women and women from host communities in Ecuador, by supporting businesses that regenerate ecosystems, economies, and community ties.
What is ReGenera?
ReGenera is more than a project—it’s a call to transform the way we produce food, care for the land, and create opportunities for women. Through the promotion of regenerative agro-food ventures, ReGenera advances environmental sustainability, climate resilience, food security, and socio-economic inclusion.
The program will be implemented over 18 months, from April 2025 to October 2026, across three provinces in Ecuador: Pichincha, Manabí, and Napo.

This program is made possible thanks to the support of Hilton Global Foundation, joining IMPAQTO to help develop sustainable and equitable solutions for the most vulnerable communities. Together, we aim to open doors for more women to lead the change our planet needs.
Who Can Apply?
ReGenera is designed for:
- Migrant women or women from host communities
- Women residing in Ecuador (in the selected provinces)
- Women who have a business, a business idea, or are interested in agro-food sectors: agriculture, food processing, gastronomy, rural tourism, natural products, etc.
- Associations of regenerative agro-food initiatives promoting sustainability and climate resilience
No prior experience is required—just the willingness to learn, grow, and make an impact.
