At YakuPura, we firmly believe that access to pure water is not only a fundamental right but also the foundation for building healthier, more resilient, and sustainable communities. Since our founding in 2018, we have committed to a clear purpose: developing accessible water purification solutions for everyone. We believe that water filtration should cease to be a luxury and become an essential element in every home, not only in Ecuador but throughout the region.
Our story: How YakuPura was born
The idea for YakuPura arose from closely observing the devastating impact that lack of potable water has on thousands of lives. Every illness or ailment caused by unsafe water is a story that should not be repeated. With this reality as our driving force, we designed accessible and sustainable purification systems focused on improving both water quality and quality of life.
Our commitment to our clients drives us to listen to their needs and continuously improve our solutions.
Social and environmental impact
To date, we have enabled more than 10,000 people to access safe drinking water, significantly reducing waterborne diseases and improving well-being. Additionally, our solutions have helped prevent thousands of plastic bottles from ending up in the oceans, decreasing bottled water consumption. Every drop counts, and our work not only purifies water but also protects the planet.
Our experience with IMPAQTO
A key moment in our journey was joining IMPAQTO in 2019. Since then, we have found not just a workspace, but a vibrant ecosystem full of opportunities.
Thanks to their acceleration program, we received mentorship and training to refine our business model and connect with investors who share our vision of a more equitable world.
Although several years have passed since our participation in the program, our relationship with IMPAQTO remains strong. Today, we are partners: our filtration systems are present in all their spaces, allowing more entrepreneurs to learn about and benefit from YakuPura. This collaboration represents an incredible opportunity to amplify our impact.
