In 2014, IMPAQTO was born with a clear mission: to empower entrepreneurs and change-makers in Ecuador and Latin America to transform social and environmental challenges into opportunities for impact.
Over this decade, we have created an ecosystem of innovation and collaboration that amplifies social, environmental, and economic impact in the region.
As the first B Corporation in Ecuador, we reaffirm our commitment to solving social and environmental problems. We focus on generating positive impact in our communities, the environment, and people.
Thus, for 10 years, we have accompanied dreamers and visionaries on their path toward positive change.
What We Do at IMPAQTO
IMPAQTO is much more than a coworking space. We have built a comprehensive ecosystem that connects spaces, resources, and people to multiply impact:
- IMPAQTO Coworking: We offer offices, individual workstations, and meeting rooms that inspire collaboration and productivity. Our spaces are centers for connection and growth.
- IMPAQTO Labs: We work hand-in-hand with companies and organizations to design and execute programs that promote sustainable and impactful entrepreneurship. From accelerators to resilience labs, we aim to empower entrepreneurs across Latin America.
- IMPAQTO Capital: Our investment fund drives the growth of startups that lead innovative solutions to social and environmental challenges in the Andean region.
The Path Toward Impact
Since our first coworking location in Quito in 2014, we have grown and evolved, always committed to being a force for change in the region.
- 2017: We expanded operations with two new locations in Quito and launched the Urban Entrepreneurship Model project with BID Lab, strengthening entrepreneurial capacity in urban environments.
- 2018: We organized CLIIQ, an impact investment event that connected startups with resources to grow and generate impact.
- 2019: We opened our fourth location in Cuenca, expanding our reach to more entrepreneurs in Ecuador.
- 2020: Together with Google for Startups, we launched the IMPAQTO Lab accelerator, supporting entrepreneurs with triple-impact projects (social, environmental, and economic).
- 2021: We presented IMPAQTO Capital, our investment fund designed for startups with positive impact in the Andean region, and supported Venezuelan entrepreneurs through pre-incubation programs.
- 2023: We partnered with USAID to launch the PODER Project, an effort to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- 2024: We launched more gender-focused projects, such as ALMA with Tesalia CBC and VIQTORIA with Mastercard Strive.
After a decade of experience, we thank all the entrepreneurs, partners, and organizations who have been part of this journey. We will continue working to transform ideas into actions that change the world.
