Kuri was created with a clear mission: to transform the way people manage their credit, moving it from paper and memory to an accessible and secure digital solution. How? Through a simple platform integrated into WhatsApp, offering digital contracts, payment history, and automatic reminders.

Every time someone uses Kuri to formalize a loan, they are not only protecting their money but also building a credit history that can open doors in the future. Small businesses that previously struggled due to lack of records can now access formal financing. Families lending money without guarantees now have tools to do so safely. Kuri is not just an app—it’s a way to empower communities and change financial culture from the ground up.
A Key Encounter at IMPAQTO
Our journey took a decisive turn in 2019 when Ludwig Pucha Cofrep and I, Juan Francisco Merchán, met at IMPAQTO’s accelerator. Both of us were immersed in our previous startups, but fate brought us together in this impact incubation program. With the support, mentorship, and connections IMPAQTO provided, we were able to shape Kuri, validate our proposal, and lay the foundation to scale our impact. We learned to listen to our users, improve our solution, and find the right business model.
Today, being part of IMPAQTO’s community of change-makers motivates us every day. We are surrounded by entrepreneurs who, like us, seek to change realities and generate positive impact. We feel that we are not alone on this path: we have a supportive network, constant learning, and collaboration. It is this environment that drives us to continue our mission of making finance accessible to everyone.
Today, Kuri is a quiet revolution that digitizes trust, transforms the way we manage credit, and opens opportunities where there was only uncertainty before.
