We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of Kinesis, a program promoted by USAID CATALYZE APEP Accelerator and led by Agora Partnerships, which we had the honor of implementing in Ecuador.
This online acceleration program marked a milestone in strengthening the region’s business and social ecosystem, highlighting the transformative power of emerging impact enterprises.
Driving collective change
Kinesis aimed to catalyze collective change by providing social entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to scale their initiatives. Its innovative design, divided into three thematic cycles – ecosystem connection, market, and investment – offered a comprehensive approach during the program’s 12 weeks.
Each cycle lasted three weeks, combining training sessions, targeted impact-focused content, and collective action activities, such as networking events that strengthened collaboration among participants and sector experts.
Tangible impact in numbers
This edition of Kinesis in Ecuador featured:
- Over 80 applications from emerging ventures, with 15 companies selected to join the program.
- 14 participants successfully completed the process, demonstrating exceptional resilience and commitment.
- More than 40 hours of training, guided by a team of 20 expert advisors.
- 170 hours of 1:1 coaching and mentoring, designed to address each venture’s specific challenges.
Key milestones
Highlights of Kinesis include:
- Market connections that opened doors to new collaboration opportunities.
- An in-person event in Quito that strengthened ties among participants and the local ecosystem.
- A virtual business round, where entrepreneurs presented their proposals to potential investors and strategic allies.
The participants’ commitment deserves special recognition. Amid power outages in Ecuador, the companies demonstrated adaptability and resilience, remaining consistent in their participation and successfully completing the program. This exemplary spirit reflects the positive impact these companies can generate in their communities and beyond.

The conclusion of Kinesis does not mark the end, but a new beginning for the participating entrepreneurs. The tools, connections, and lessons gained through the program will serve as the momentum for these impact enterprises to continue growing and generating sustainable transformations.
